Straight off his first appearance in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Ralph Fiennes brought the Dark Lord Voldemort to life with a delicious intensity. The actor went on to appear in Order of the Phoenix, Deathly Hallows – Part 1, and Deathly Hallows – Part 2 before his character ultimately met his end, but could we possibly see Voldemort again?

Ralph Fiennes told Variety that he would jump at the chance to reprise the role of Voldemort “Sure, of course,” Fiennes said when asked if he would play the character again. “No question about it.” While I’m not about to hold my breath that we’ll see Ralph Fiennes back as Voldemort, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav recently mentioned the possibility of doing more Harry Potter movies with J.K. Rowling. “We haven’t had a Harry Potter movie in 15 years. The DC movies and the Harry Potter movies provided a lot of the profits for Warner Bros. … over the past 25 years.” The executive added that he’d like to see more from the franchise, “If we can do something with J.K. [Rowling] on Harry Potter going forward.

Ralph Fiennes will soon be seen starring alongside Anya Taylor-Joy and Nicholas Hoult in The Menu. The film follows a young couple who travel to a remote island to eat at an exclusive restaurant run by chef Julian Slowik, who has prepared a lavish menu with some shocking surprises for the wealthy guests. Our own Chris Bumbray caught the film when it debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival and absolutely loved it. “The Menu was precisely the kind of black-hearted, cynical satire I needed at this midway point at the Toronto International Festival,” Bumbray wrote. “When you’re watching movie after movie, it’s sometimes easy for one’s eyes to glaze over a bit, but The Menu is an energetic blast that will make even the most cynical audience member wince. It’s a delightfully-squirm inducing satire of wealth and haute-cuisine, with several Grand Guignol moments that even inch it towards the horror genre.” You can check out the rest of Bumbray’s review right here. The Menu will hit theaters on November 18th.

As for the Harry Potter franchise, would you like to see Ralph Fiennes play Voldemort again?
