Direct-to-vid sequels have become a hugely profitable business model for studios, but RETURN TO HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL is taking a unique approach. Besides hitting on hi-def formats, the movie will allow viewers to directly influence events in the movie at certain points (for example, should this chick make out with other chicks? I think you know the answer).
The “choose your own adventure” aspect is appealing enough, but the movie also looks pretty well made. It’s directed by FX guy Victor Garcia (who’s worked on HELLBOY and ROMASANTA) and stars Erik Palladino, Jeffrey Combs and Cerina Vincent (of course). The movie hits your DVD player on October 16th.
