The seventh season of American Horror Story is currently in production (and even did some filming at HALLOWEEN 1978 locations), and since actors are now on set we're starting to learn more about the cast of this season.

For a while, all we knew was that American Horror Story regulars Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters would be returning. Gradually they were joined by new additions – Billie Lourd, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman (pictured above) – as well as fellow returning actors Cheyenne Jackson and Adina Porter.

Series creator Ryan Murphy has now announced the casting of another AHS newcomer, doing so by posting an image on Instagram. This image shows actor Colton Haynes, who was on a couple episodes of Murphy's series Scream Queens and may be best known for playing Roy "Arsenal" Harper on Arrow and/or Jackson Whittemore on the Teen Wolf TV show.

No details were revealed about Haynes' character.

Similarly, we have very little information on what this season of American Horror Story is about. All we know is that it takes place in the aftermath of the 2016 U.S. presidential election. Murphy has said,

The first 10 minutes of the season, this season, takes place in a very eerie macabre way on election night and there's something terrible that happens in the lives of our characters on election night as they're watching it all go down."

American Horror Story will be returning to FX airwaves this September.

Welcome to American Horror Story, Colton Haynes
