I have very mixed feelings about Heath’s final role, that of the mystic Doctor Parnassus, in Terry Gilliam’s highly anticipated THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS. On one hand, I was so affected by his performance as The Joker, that I can’t, and don’t want to envision him in anything else. On the other, and more logical hand, I’m excited to have another glimpse of such a unique talent, one final time. It’s still hard to fathom that the man who played The Joker will never play anything else again. On that all too sad note, I present to you an image of Mr. Ledger as The Doctor himself. Amazing.
