Alright, I know awards season has wrapped, but I just have to shove this in real quick, as I think it’s pretty damn funny.
The guys at Britanick.com made this video for Cracked which is supposed to be the “trailer for every Academy Award winning movie ever made.” It’s very in the style of The Onion if that’s your thing, and though it starts out like a RAIN MAN parody, it expands to a bunch of other films as well. See if you can spot everything it’s ripping on.
Obvoiusly, it’s generalizing, but it is very well done and often true (“Actor desperately trying to win an Oscar” anyone?). See for yourself below:
