H.G. Lewis’ Fairy Tale

It’s kind of nice to see that you can still be a twisted motherf*cker at 79 years old. And if anybody can maintain such instability for so long, it’s Herschell Gordon Lewis, virtually the creator of the splatter film. I had the privilege of being at a screening of TWO THOUSAND MANIACS! with the randy director in attendance, and I can confirm the guy has lost none of his spunk, not to mention his love of the red stuff. (Read my article HERE.)

So it goes that Lewis is going to keep on rolling with GRIM FAIRY TALE, a flick about a game show where if you lose, you lose body parts. Dammit, why doesn’t this show really exist? I think if some douche gets booted off “American Idol”, they should have their tongue cut out for offending the air with their wailing and screeching. Kill the f*cking judges too.

Anyway, Dread Central got themselves a few exclusive stills from the film, which you can check out HERE. They also had themselves a nice conversation with H.G., so be sure to head on over there to gain some wisdom on the rules of horror and the business of making a movie.

GRIM FAIRY TALE stars The film stars Brooke McCarter, Nevada Caldwell, Joel Wynkoop, and Krista Grotte (pictured below).
