Bong Joon-Ho's English-language debut, SNOWPIERCER is gearing up for its theatrical release and today we have a (low-quality) look at the trailer. The film is set in the year 2031 and follows a group of passengers on a train that traverse the "snopocalyptic" terrain of an ice age ravaged Earth. Naturally, being in a confined space for too long causes turmoil, which sees a kind of class warfare taking place between the "front," led by a crazy-looking Tilda Swinton, and the "rear," which forms a resistance with Chris "Captain America" Evans.

Not so surprisingly, this looks pretty cool. The story doesn't seem to be anything new, but the setting and premise look like a fun, high-concept sci-fi romp. Evans and Twinton are joined by a well-rounded cast, including John Hurt, Octavia Spencer, Jamie Bell, Ed Harris, Alison Pill, and Ewan Bremner.
SNOWPIERCER is set to debut sometime in 2013.
