Andy Muschietti's take on Stephen King's IT (which just found its Pennywise in Bill Skarsgård) has found a key bully! In the role of Patrick Hocksetter, "a psychopath [who] keeps a refrigerator full of animals that he’s killed," Owen Teague has joined the cast.

Teague is best known for portraying Ben Mendelsohn's son in the Netflix series Bloodline, but he will be appearing later this year in another Stephen King adaptation, Tod Williams' CELL.

King's novel centered on:

seven children known as The Losers Club who come face to face with life problems, bullies and a monster that takes the shape of a clown called Pennywise.

The cast of kids in Pennywise's sights includes Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs and Jeremy Ray Taylor.

The plan is for this cinematic adaptation to be a two-parter; the first film focusing on the characters as children and the second showing their rematch with Pennywise as adults. The first part will commence shooting in Toronto this July.

The current release date for Part 1 is set for September 18, 2017.
