It's the summer of the shark on SyFy, and SHARKNADO better watch out!
We've got the first poster for SyFy's upcoming sequel SHARKTOPUS VS. PTERACUDA on tap for you this morning and not only does it promise a battle of epic proportions but it also shares that the Roger Corman-produced flick will be…a love story? Yep. A love story. I suppose that even a Sharktopus needs love, too.
This poster follows the first image from the flick that we brought you last month, which we followed up a few days later with a clip featuring a slap-fight between the two beasties.
Look for the flick on Syfy this August 2nd.
SHARKTOPUS VS PTERACUDA finds an American scientist, Robert Carradine (DJANGO UNCHAINED) up to no good (as usual) by creating the half-pterodactyl, half-barracuda: Pteracuda. When the creature inevitably escapes, it’s up to Sharktopus to stop him.
Robert Carradine and Katie Savoy both star in the flick, but I'm most excited for the acting debut of late night talk show host Conan O'Brien who is set to bring his own particular brand of acting to the film. That's right…Conan O'Brien will be in SHARKTOPUS VS. PTERACUDA. If that isn't incentive enough to wanna check this out I don't know what is.
