Cool Horror Gear: Beyond the Gates on VHS

Haha. Gotta love this news. 

Turns out Lo-Fi Video have taken it upon themselves to keep the days of VHS rolling by releasing the recent Barbara Crampton horror flick BEYOND THE GATES on VHS. And not only that, but the VHS comes to you signed and the actual tape is f*cking purple. Ha. It's the little things sometimes.

Anyhow, you can check out all the details below and make sure to act fast if you're a BEYOND THE GATES fan and/or a VHS fan as this run is limited to a mere 50 copies. Get on it, guys!

Beyond The Gates is Jumanji for horror fans.

Two estranged brothers reunite at their missing father's video store to liquidate the property and sell off his assets. As they dig through the store, they find a VCR board game dubbed 'Beyond The Gates' that holds a connection to their father's disappearance and deadly consequences for anyone who plays it.

Limited to 50 copies on Purple VHS tapes.

Very cool shite! I don't know if you saw that last bit or not – or if you caught it mentioned above – but the BEYOND THE GATES purple as f*ck VHS's are limited to 50 copies. Personally, I still own a ton of my horror movies on VHS. Why get rid of them? I'm going to start my own video store one day, renting exclusively horror VHS. True story.

BEYOND THE GATES is directed by Jackson Stewart from a script by Stewart and Stephen Scarlata. The film stars Graham Skipper, Chase Williamson, Brea Grant (see below), Matt Mercer, and Barbara Crampton (see below).
