First trailer for vampire tale What We Do In The Shadows has comedic bite

I've always dug the way horror mixes with comedy, especially when it's done right. Take Edgar Wright's SHAUN OF THE DEAD, for example. For this guy, that was a perfect mix of horror and comedy and has easily become one of the most quotable films I've ever seen. If early buzz is to be believed Jermaine Clement and Taika Waititi’s WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS is well on its way to becoming king of the horror-comedy throne, and today we have the hilarious trailer for this vampire mockumentary which just played to a very positive reception at this years Stanley Fest.

The movie hails from "Flight of the Conchords" co-creator Jemaine Clement and frequent collaborator Taika Waititi, and follows three centuries-old bloodsuckers trying to navigate today’s world. The movie is part of Sundance’s Park City at Midnight, and it is an acquisition title.

Jemaine Clement, Taika Waititi, Jonathon Brugh, Cori Gonzalez-Macuer, and Stu Rutherford star. Check out the trailer below and see if it looks like the kind of flick you'll be able to sink your teeth into.
