Here’s what Writer/Director Dominic Grose had to say about his film and what's coming next!

I have been making horror shorts since I left University. I wanted to keep active in filmmaking no matter what job I ended up in and the horror genre lends itself well to minimal cast, crew and budget. I have been working from home during the pandemic but I wanted to use any free time I had productively and when I saw an interesting drawing my brother had done in his sketchbook, my mind started to wander in how to incorporate that into a horror film. My Mum actually ended up doing the artwork for the film though! The idea of a picture or portrait coming to life has been done before so I wanted to put my own spin on it and I hope I achieved that. I have been really taken aback by how many are liking it and what's nice is now my other films are getting more attention as well because of people who enjoyed The Drawing. I am already working on another short I'll be making in my house again and I have a bigger scaled one planned that I am going to shoot at an old manor house, once I can get everyone together safely.
