Jason Blum’s Blumhouse Productions and writer Akiva Goldsman are teaming up on STEPHANIE, a supernatural horror film.

STEPHANIE tells the story of a little girl with unworldly abilities who was abandoned before a man and a woman show up claiming to be her parents, thereby interrupting her mysterious world.

STEPHANIE comes from writers Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski, whose script was featured on The Blood List (the horror version of The Black List) a few years ago.

Goldsman is, of course, the screenwriter behind such gems as BATMAN & ROBIN, LOST IN SPACE and I, ROBOT. To be fair, he won an Oscar for his A BEAUTIFUL MIND script, and he’s been working tirelessly alongside Ron Howard on THE DARK TOWER, which is still looking for a home.

For Blum, it’s the ten thousandth project he has in development.
