The Good Wife creators Robert and Michelle King are re-teaming with that show's network CBS for a new series, and this time the show that the Kings have crafted is something that might be of interest to us here at Arrow in the Head.

This new show is called Evil, and it's said to be about

the battle between science and religion. It focuses on Kristen Benoist, a skeptical female clinical psychologist who joins a priest-in-training and a blue-collar contractor as they investigate supposed miracles, demonic possessions, and other extraordinary occurrences to see if there’s a scientific explanation or if something truly supernatural is at work.

The pilot episode of Evil will be going into production soon, and the lead has just been cast. Stepping into the role of Kristen Benoist is Katja Herbers, who recently appeared on several episodes of the HBO series Westworld (pictured above).

The Kings have written Evil and are executive producing the show with King Size Prods. president Liz Glotzer.

So now we'll have to wait and see – if CBS does end up airing Evil – if each strange occurrence on the show will be explained away with science, or if Herbers' character is actually going to end up fighting demons.
