Loads of NECA pics

Last Updated on July 26, 2021

The guys over at Dread Central recently hit up the 2009 Toy Fair, where they got a look at loads of new figures heading our way from NECA. Now we’re not given any details on these collectibles yet, but we do have an idea of what we can expect! So try and keep up with me as I tell you about over a dozen figures! To check out the entire gallery, including loads of pictures not seen here, you can go ahead and click any of the pictures above and below.

First up we’ve got a brand new figure based on the classic horror flick THE EXORCIST. You can get a glimpse of that above. It obviously features Linda Blair as the infamous Regan. She’s bedridden and in full demon mode. The only other real EXORCIST figure to rival this one would be from the Cult Classics series, where she’s sporting the spiderwalk. Personally I think I’d go with the bed one, it just looks cooler as a display.

Next up we’ve got a look at some brand new TERMINATOR 2: JUDGEMENT DAY figures. It’s actually four different versions of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s T-800. As you can see we’ve got the T-800 from the end of the film, The Terminator with his robo-arm, Arnold decked out with a heavy duty machine gun, and The Terminator sporting his trusty shotgun. Personally I’m digging the first one… that looks awesome.

If you’re a fan of the RESIDENT EVIL games then chances are you’ve played the demo for RESIDENT EVIL 5 at least 30 times by now. Hell I’m not even a fan of the franchise and I’ve played the thing a few times. And it’s not everyday where there’s figures made based soley on a video game demo… but that seems to be the case with RESIDENT EVIL! As you can see above we’ve got a whole diorama headed our way starring Chris Redfield and Sheva as they battle that psychotic axe wielding badass. It’s actually a pretty cool collectible. Scope that out above and get ready for RESIDENT EVIL 5 on March 13th.

Earlier this year I told you how NECA were planning on bringing us figures based on four badass video games: DEAD SPACE, DEVIL MAY CRY, PROTOTYPE, and DANTE’S INFERNO. Well we got looks at three of those figures at this year’s Toy Fair! Above and below you can check out the figures for DEAD SPACE, PROTOTYPE, and DANTE’S INFERNO. The DEAD SPACE guy looks awesome while the DANTE’S INFERNO… not so much. As for PROTOTYPE… I know nothing at all about this game but that figure looks awesome.

Also seen below are the new TWILIGHT figures. I’ve told you about the Edward and Bella figures, but it looks like we’re also getting a figure of another character. I’m going to go ahead and assume that figure is of Edward’s sister Alice, played by the gorgeous Ashley Greene.

And lastly we’ve got some more shots of the GEARS OF WAR 2 figures I told you about last month. We get a look at several other GEARS characters including several other Locusts as well as a couple dioramas. Just click through on any of the shots to check out the entire gallery. We’ll be keeping an eye out for all these awesome genre figures and will update you all once we’ve got more info.
