Lucio Fulci’s Zombie 4K Blu-ray coming this September!

Hell, yeah! It was only last week that wee passed along word that John Carpenter's classic HALLOWEEN was getting its own 4K Blu-ray release. And today we have the killer news that director Lucio Fulci's eye-splintering zombie classic ZOMBIE will be hitting Blu-ray with a new 4K transfer for an upcoming 40th Anniversary Restoration.

And the new 3-Disc Limited Edition Blu-ray isn't all you'll be getting this September. Oh, no. This release also comes with your choice of 3D Lenticular Slipcover featuring 3 different iconic scenes from the flick including the ending bridge shot, the rising from the grave bit, and the splinter in the eye masterpiece of gore. But where is Zombie vs Shark? I guess we'll have to wait and see if that'll be some kind of surprise addition as we inch closer to the film's release on November 27th!
