Netflix Ana Lily Amirpour The Bad Batch

THE BAD BATCH, the cannibalistic follow-up to A GIRL WALKS HOME ALONE AT NIGHT from writer-director Ana Lily Amirpour, is being kept frustratingly under wraps, but thanks to Netflix the ball is rolling toward us actually being able to see it.

The Netflix service is currently closing the deal to acquire streaming video on demand rights for the film, which just premiered at the Venice Film Festival. Although theatrical distribution is still up in the air, Netflix's interest will  certainly kick start the process, and at any rate, hopefully we'll get to see it soon.

If you just can't wait, THE BAD BATCH will also be playing at Fantastic Fest later this month.

THE BAD BATCH is:

a dystopian fairy tale set in a Texas wasteland where a girl (Suki Waterhouse) wanders alone into a band of cannibalistic drifters.

THE BAD BATCH also stars Jason Momoa, Diego Luna, Keanu Reeves, and Jim Carrey.
