New poster for Guillermo del Toro’s The Strain catches your eye

We recently brought you the latest promo for FX's upcoming horror series "The Strain", based on the novels by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan and set to debut later this summer. Today we have a new eye-catching poster for the horror series to share with you, and much like an earlier squirm-inducing promo we shared, we'd bet it's one that you won't be able to look away from.

Here's what the series will be about:

The Strain is a high-concept thriller that tells the story of Dr. Ephraim Goodweather (Stoll), the head of the Center for Disease Control Canary Team in New York City. He and his team are called upon to investigate a mysterious viral outbreak with hallmarks of an ancient and evil strain of vampirism. As the strain spreads, Eph, his team, and an assembly of everyday New Yorkers wage war for the fate of humanity itself.
