So a press release for a new flick called GUT, from writer/director Elias, just entered our inbox today…and what else would we do but relay that shite your way!

We not only have the films premise on deck, we also have some stills, the first trailer and poster for the film, which is currently in the final stages of post-production. A lot to get to, so let’s keep the shite moving…

Starring Jason Vail, Nicholas Wilder, Sarah Schoofs, Kristianna and Kaitlyn Mueller, Angie Bullaro, Maria Victoria, Karl Pfeiffer and Miles Joris-Peyrafitte – GUT goes like this:

Something is missing in Tom’s life. His marriage has lost its spark, his job is suffocating him, and his childhood best friend Dan still clings to the past. Every day he goes through the motions, becoming increasingly detached from those around him. Dan has the solution… something Tom’s got to see to believe… tonight. What Dan shows him leaves Tom unsettled, flooding his mind with disturbing images, and binding the two friends together with its ugly secret.

Vague enough to spoil nothing, at same time intriguing enough to wanna see and hear more. Sure it’s low budget, and done by a second time writer/director, but sometimes those are the most rewarding. Take a look at the trailer and let us know where you think GUT will file.

Or visit the films Official Site and Facebook page for more.
