Pride and Prejudice and Zombies characters get their own posters

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Last month, a "bloody lovely" PRIDE & PREJUDICE & ZOMBIES poster showed Lily James and Sam Riley as their characters Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy, standing back-to-back as they prepared to take on a horde of the living dead. Now a handful of new posters have been released for the film, posters that give characters their own solo time in the spotlight.

Featured on the posters are Bella Heathcote as Jane Bennet, Douglas Booth as Mr. Bingley, Lena Headey as Lady Catherine de Bourgh, and Jack Huston as Mr. Wickham, all wielding weapons and ready to take on the dead.

Another poster shows a group of characters assembling to fight zombies together.

Directed by Burr Steers and based on Seth Grahame-Smith's reworking of Jane Austen's public domain 1813 novel Pride and Prejudice, PRIDE & PREJUDICE & ZOMBIES tells the following story:

A zombie outbreak has fallen upon the land in this reimagining of Jane Austen’s classic tale of the tangled relationships between lovers from different social classes in 19th century England. Feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet is a master of martial arts and weaponry and the handsome Mr. Darcy is a fierce zombie killer, yet the epitome of upper class prejudice. As the zombie outbreak intensifies, they must swallow their pride and join forces on the blood-soaked battlefield in order to conquer the undead once and for all.

The film is set to reach theatres on February 6, 2016.
