Ridley Scott dishes fresh details on Alien: Paradise Lost

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

As THE MARTIAN continues to cull astronomical numbers, director Ridley Scott's press tour cannot avoid questions about his PROMETHEUS sequel, ALIEN: PARADISE LOST. Ridley recent chatted with Awards Campaign to address the anticipated sequel, which will return the likes of Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender. And guess what? Scott teased a potential first-act bloodbath involving a new group of travelers.  Check it…

“It’s going to be it’s own separate thing because they are going to the planet of the Engineers and they are going to see what happened there. It was a disaster…And they will be in that alien craft that takes them there, but with a new group that’s incoming, a new group of travelers in the beginning of the first act.”

The logical course is that those travelers will be gorily dispatched by an angry horde of Xenomorphs. The Engineer homeland is ironically dubbed Paradise, as per the title, a placce bound to be littered with dead bodies by the time the movie kicks into a second gear. Nothing definitive, but certainly hopeful. Or hopeless, if you're one of those ill-fated new travelers.

ALIEN: PARADISE LOST is set to enter production in early 2016.

My personal paradise, Prometheus star Charlize Theron!
