Ruth Wilson to star in ghostly I Am the Pretty Thing that Lives in the House

While this sounds very cool, that title's gonna have to go.

Ruth Wilson (Luther, The Affair, The Lone Ranger) has signed on to star in the ghost story I AM THE PRETTY THING THAT LIVES IN THE HOUSE, which comes from director Osgood Perkins (FEBRUARY). Bob Balaban and Lucy Boynton will co-star with principal photography starting in Ottawa on February 16th.

The film follows...

Lily (Wilson), a young nurse hired to care for elderly Helen Bloom, a best-selling author of ghost stories who has chosen to live out her final days in her beloved country home – a home that holds an horrific ghost story of its own.

Rob Paris’ Paris Film, Inc. is producing and co-financing the film through the recently announced venture with Robert Menzies’s Ottawa-based production shingle Zed Filmworks, and Canadian real estate developer Alphonse Ghossein’s Go Insane Films.  Paris and Menzies are producing and Ghossein is executive producing.

Extra Tidbit: Wilson plays a really great villain in Luther; check it out if you haven't already.
