Scream Factory announces Exorcist III features – including Director’s Cut!

Forgive me readers, for I have sinned. I only just watched THE EXORCIST III for the first time this month. The cult favorite sequel is a terrific chiller, but it was creatively compromised by the studio to shoehorn in connections to the original film. Directed by original author William Peter Blatty from his novel "Legion," the film didn't turn out exactly as he intended, even though it was still completely effective.

I have good news for fans of the film. Scream Factory's Collector's Edition Blu-Ray release of THE EXORCIST III, coming October 25th has now announced its jam-packed list of special features. Included among them? LEGION, the original director's cut that follows Blatty's vision. Check out the full list below:
