I remember checking out the panel for SOLOMON KANE last summer in San Diego at the Comic-Con, and thinking that it looked OK, or at least more decent than some of the other trash that’s out right now (PRINCE OF PERSIA, I’m talking to you!). But time has passed, and we still haven’t seen it… there’s not even a release date in sight. That is, unless you live in the UK…

That’s right folks, SOLOMON KANE is headed for the UK on DVD and Blu-ray June 28, 2010, and we have the details right here to prove it! Check out all the SOLOMON goodness, starring James Purefoy, below:

  • Commentaries by Michael J Bassett & James Purefoy
  • Video Introduction by Michael J Bassett
  • The Making of Solomon Kane
  • Montage Clip
  • Interviews with Producers Samuel Hadida & Paul Berrow, Director Michael J Bassett, Actor James Purefoy and Composer Klaus Badelt
  • Deleted scene: Cave Fight
  • Special Effects: The Creation of the Fire Demon
  • Artworks by Greg Staples
  • Trailer
  • Not a bad line-up of features, especially considering the shaft the film seems have gotten in terms of finding a theatrical release and all that. Then again, those wankers in the UK probably saw this biotch in theaters earlier this year. I guess it’s the rest of us who can’t seem to get with the program.

Check out the artwork for both formats below (there’s a lot of words thrown on there–maybe too many), and get ready for SOLOMON KANE on DVD and Blu-ray in UK stores everywhere June 28, 2010.
