Stallone briefly talks Rambo 5, claims Rambo doesn’t like Mexicans

WARNING: There’s potentially a very big RAMBO 5 spoiler in this article.

In a pretty neat article over at Canadian site Macleans, Sly Stallone opens up in a big way about his career, his past feuds (with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Richard Gere!) and what his future holds. I’d love to just go over each question with a fine-tooth comb, but let’s just focus on one aspect: the next RAMBO.

Is there a future for the character? Last year, we got an update from screenwriter Sean Hood, who was approached by Stallone and Millennium Entertainment to script a new adventure for the venerable action hero. Now Sly has opened up about it – just a little.

“I’m dying to do another Rambo. He’s in Arizona on the border. It will involve him going into Mexico. I don’t think Rambo likes Mexicans.”

Stallone is then asked if he’ll kill Rambo off in this new installment, and he responds with a simple “Yes.”

The entire chat with Sly is interesting (did you know he turned down Quentin Tarantino twice?), so check out the article right HERE. Now the wait for Rambo’s run for the border begins…
