The Netflix smash hit series Stranger Things is gearing up for its second season, already adding two actors to the roster: Sadie Sink and Dacre Montgomery. These two will be perming up for the nine-episode season, which premieres in 2017

Sink (pictured above), who has appeared in the TV series American Odyssey and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, will play Max, "a tough and confident girl whose appearance, behavior and pursuits seem more typical of boys than girls of this era. She has a complicated history and is generally suspicious of those around her."

Montgomery (pictured below), who appears in Chris Peckover's SAFE NEIGHBORHOOD and will soon make a splash as the Red Ranger in the POWER RANGERS reboot, plays Billy, "Max’s hyper-confident and edgy older step-brother. He steals girlfriends away from their boyfriends, is great at drinking games, and drives a black Camaro. But lurking under his apparent charisma is a violent and unpredictable nature."

In addition to this casting coup, it has been announced that season 1 recurring cast members Joe Keery (Steve Harrington) and Noah Schnapp (Will Byers) have been upped to series regulars for the second season. Prepare to see a lot more Dungeons & Dragons-ing and… poofy hair? What does Steve really have to offer the world?
