Fair warning to all vampires and tree trunks: Don’t f*ck with Honest Abe.

Fox has released the first teaser trailer for Timur Bekmambetov’s ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER, which you can watch below. I actually got to peep it a few days early in Springfield, Ill at a special press event for the flick (my report will hit very soon), but it’s nice to know everyone can now marvel at it.

I expect the preview will provoke a wide array of reactions: “Awesome!” from some, “what the hell did I just see?” from others – and everything else in between. Whatever your thoughts on it are, I believe we can all agree that this movie is set to be one of the most unusual entries in many a summer movie-going season.

Starring Benjamin Walker, Dominic Cooper, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Rufus Sewell, Anthony Mackie and Alan Tudyk, ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER opens on JUNE 22nd.
