It feels like it has been awhile since we have given you any news on Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. Last we heard, the IMAX was planning to show a 6-minute prologue and that was almost a month ago. Well have no fear because I have some awesome stuff for you guys!
Now I don’t want to hear anyone complain about spoilers, what I am presenting isn’t something filmed or photographed on the set. No what we have here is official from the camp of Batman! Empire Magazine out this Thursday has an exclusive feature on the film, which will include cool stuff like words from Nolan and new official pictures. They have unveiled the two covers for the edition, one features Batman and the other features Bane. These would be the first official looks at the characters, and something Nolan wants you to see. There is also going to be a subscribers only Bane cover, which differs to the one available to the general public. Check them out below!
Also in other THE DARK KNIGHT RISES news, word on the street is that a new trailer is set to debut next month! That word comes from Variety’s Jeff Sneider who confirmed via his Twitter that we could expect to see a new trailer in front of SHERLOCK HOLMES 2! I guess that there is reason to see the film, but that wasn’t all, there is a strong chance it might also carry a trailer for THE HOBBIT. Next month is looking up, isn’t it?
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES will star Christian Bale, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Marion Cotillard (below), Josh Stewart, Matthew Modine and Juno Temple. It will finally be released on July 20, 2012.
