Resident Evil The Final Chapter Milla Jovovich

As we all know, when a horror movie claims to be the "final chapter," that's almost a guarantee that there will be more sequels. But RESIDENT EVIL: THE FINAL CHAPTER seems pretty committed to the idea. In their new motion poster, released by Sony Pictures on Twitter, they drive the point home with a decidedly finite tagline. It's not the most creative motion poster in the business, but MIlla Jovovich looks reliably badass. Check it out below!

Written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, THE FINAL CHAPTER picks up immediately after the events of the previous film, RESIDENT EVIL: RETRIBUTION, and

finds humanity is on its last legs. Alice must return to Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is preparing for a final strike against the survivors of the apocalypse.

In a race against time Alice will join forces with old friends, and an unlikely ally, in an action packed battle with undead hordes and new mutant monsters. Between losing her superhuman abilities and Umbrella’s impending attack, this will be Alice’s most difficult adventure as she fights to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion.

Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Iain Glen, Shawn Roberts, Ruby Rose, Eoin Macken, William Levy, Fraser James, Rola, and Lee Joon-gi star.

RESIDENT EVIL: THE FINAL CHAPTER is set for release on January 17, 2017.
