The trailer for found footage thrillride Nightlight is here!

Last Updated on July 22, 2021

Just the other day we brought you the poster for the found footage thriller NIGHTLIGHT, and today we’ve got the official trailer to share. From here, this looks like a standard entry into what has become a very predictable subgenre: teens wander someplace they shouldn’t and spend much of the time running around the dark woods screaming and absentmindedly recording everything. That said, Lionsgate liked it enough to acquire it last spring – it has just taken them a long time to find a release date, which is a little over a month away.

The synopsis:

For years, the Covington forest has been shrouded in mystery, with a dark past as a final destination for troubled youths. Undeterred by the news of a classmate who recently took his life in those woods, five teens journey into the forest for an evening of flashlight games and ghost stories. But their plans go awry when the friends awaken a demonic presence, an unseen evil that will seize upon their deepest fears—and plunge them into a nightmare of absolute terror.

NIGHTLIGHT, which was helmed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, hits theaters and iTunes on March 27th.
