And before you ask, Jake, how can you call these guys original if they’re currently adapting someone else’s work (CLOUS ATLAS)? Well, you would have me there, before considering how admirably ambitious the adaptation has already proven to be. Besides, what’s more original than to have your entire cast inhabit multiple roles?
Anyway, after going to CLOUD ATLAS, the Wachowski brothers are set to make JUPITER ASCENDING, a new sci-fi tale – and potential franchise – they’ve written for Warner Bros.
As you might imagine from those wacky MATRIX bros., story details are buried away somewhere unknown. Word is a top-flight actor is now being sought to headline, with production slated to begin this spring.
