The Ward scribes go nuts with Dark Feed; check out the first trailer and poster

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

It’s been a long while since we last wrote about DARK FEED, so just as a reminder… It’s the directorial debut feature from the Rasmussen Brothers, who have previously penned the script for John Carpenter’s THE WARD and it looks like the bros are sticking with the psychological horror theme. In fact, the movie was also shot in New England, using some of the buildings featured in Martin Scorsese’s SHUTTER ISLAND, while the production design for the film was done by the art director whose previous credits include SESSION 9. So, as far as movies set in a  mental asylum go, this one is rocking some serious cred.

It seems like the movie has finally wrapped and, to celebrate the occasion, we bring you the first trailer, a new poster and official synopsis for this intriguing flick. Check’em all out below.

When a film crew moves into an abandoned psychiatric hospital with a shadowy past to shoot a low budget horror film, they get more than they bargained for. The late nights and lack of sleep begin to take a toll, and the longer this crew works, the more the leaky, wet building seems to be coming back to life, feeding off its new inhabitants.

DARK FEED stars Evalena Marie, Dayna Cousins, Michael Reed, Andy Rudick, Bree Elrod, Jonathan Thomson, Michael Scott Allen, Victoria Nugent and Jessica Lauren Napier.
