Things really suck for Pratt and Lawrence in Passengers trailer and clip

Passengers Morten Tyldum Jennifer Lawrence Chris Pratt

The December 21, 2016 release date of the sci-fi adventure PASSENGERS is quickly approaching, which means it's time for the marketing to shift into top gear.

Directed by Morten Tyldum from a screenplay by Jon Spaihts (who our own Eric Walkuski spoke to earlier this month - you can read the interview HERE), PASSENGERS stars Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence.

The synopsis:

On a routine journey through space to a new home, two passengers, sleeping in suspended animation, are awakened 90 years too early when their ship malfunctions. As Jim and Aurora face living the rest of their lives on board, with every luxury they could ever ask for, they begin to fall for each other, unable to deny their intense attraction... until they discover the ship is in grave danger. With the lives of 5000 sleeping passengers at stake, only Jim and Aurora can save them all.

The first trailer for PASSENGERS was released back in September, and with the film's release now less than a month away another, shorter trailer has appeared online and can be seen below. Despite clocking in at less than a minute long, this trailer still contains shots that I'm concerned are bigger spoilers than we should be seeing at this point.

Next up is a clip from the film. The first clip we saw featured Lawrence having trouble in a swimming pool, and this time she's joined by Pratt, who puts his own life at risk to help her after she's sucked into an area of the ship that has been damaged. This girl seems to be very unlucky.

If the new trailer and clip appeal to you, get ready to check out PASSENGERS when it's released in just over three weeks.
