Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Sherry Stringfield, best known as Dr. Susan Lewis in “ER”, has joined the madness of “Under the Dome”, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

In the show’s second season, which airs on CBS this summer, Stringfield will play the role of “Pauline, a mysterious woman who may be connected to the origins of the dome.”

Stringfield joins newcomers Eddie Cahill, who will play Big Jim’s (Dean Norris) brother-in-law Sam; Misfits’ Karla Crome as Rebecca, a teacher; and Grace Victoria Cox as Melanie, a potential love interest for Joe (Colin Ford).

UNDER THE DOME tells the story of a small town that is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an enormous transparent dome. The town’s inhabitants must deal with surviving the post-apocalyptic conditions while searching for answers to what this barrier is, where it came from, and if and when it will go away.

“Under the Dome” starts its second run on June 30th.
