Twitch Film was kind enough to mirror a teaser trailer for VIY, a new Russian horror flick that is currently in production. You can check out the Production Site for a long synopsis that could use a little editing. It also includes some stills from the trailer, and the best Genre Description I’ve ever seen…namely the most scary Russian movie.

Essentially the flick seems to be about a being whose gaze causes all of your darkest stuff to come forth and attack you. Only the pure of heart can survive the experience. Cool, eh? Of course, I’d be dead in about 3 seconds, but you don’t care about the 43% I got on my last Purity Test. So leave me to my shame and go check out the trailer.
