Now that MY SOUL TO TAKE (aka 25/8) is complete, directed Wes Craven is on the look-out for another project. Yes, there’s the heavily rumored SCREAM 4 to think about, but at this point there’s nothing official with that, though here’s hoping he comes around.

The boys at Bloody-D have heard through the grapevine that a film Craven’s possibly interested in directing is called SUNFLOWER, from writer Misha Green. So what the heck is SUNFLOWER all about? Check it: SUNFLOWER follows a woman who is on the verge of running away from her life when a seemingly straight-faced professor abducts her forcing to play a part in his twisted world.

Not sure what I think about that, other than I hope Craven decides to go with SCREAM 4 instead of this. Then again, it sounds like the perfect kind of dark story Craven has a knack for telling, and one that would like have little effects shots, and rely completely on tension and atmosphere. Who am I kidding… if Craven’s involved, I’ll be here in a heartbeat… but I’d like to see SCREAM 4 happen first!
