Horror stalks The Girl in the Cornfield

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Friday, May 13th, 2016 will see the release of THE GIRL IN THE CORNFIELD, a horror tale from director Ryan Callaway and prolific independent production company Shady Dawn Pictures, and a trailer has been released online to give us a look at what they have in store for us.

Starring Briana Aceti, Tina Duong, and Madeline Lupi, the film has the following synopsis:

Three young women traveling along a dark country road encounter a mysterious girl in a white dress who turns out to be far more than she seems.

The film was obviously shot on quite a small budget, but there is some nice atmosphere on display in the trailer, and the story seems interesting. This is the first time I've come across a Shady Dawn production, but I'm now intrigued to learn more about them. THE GIRL IN THE CORNFIELD will be their twelfth project to be released in a span of six years.
