Greetings fellow horror fans! Happy Monday, which means another weekend has been and gone. With only three weekends left till next month that also means only three weekends left till 2012! Where has the time flown?
So what happened at the Box Office? Not much to be honest, THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN PART 1 is still number 1. Some films climbed a bit higher in their spot since last week, such as HUGO, which went from number 5 to 3. Overall there was a drop in numbers, this is a trend we have seen every month. There were no new wider releases this Friday either so these numbers are not surprising. There were a few limited releases, with the likes of SHAME, which made the Top 20.
As for horror, there isn’t really much going on to be perfectly honest. Films that we have covered before are still rattling around in the Top 50, but not making a substantial mark. IMMORTALS is still in the Top 10, which is something we can be happy about.
Next week I MELT WITH YOU opens in limited, let’s hope it find some kind of audience, seek it out!
