Former internet phenom and current SNL superstar Andy Samberg is poised to take the comedy world by storm with his feature film debut HOT ROD. Unless, of course, he doesn’t and he goes the way of a Chris Kattan or a Tim Meadows. In which case, bummer. In the film, he stars as a stuntman who insists on a fifteen bus jump to raise enough money to pay for his abusive stepfather’s life-saving operation so that when he’s healthy, he can kick his abusing ass right back into the hospital. Check out the teaser trailer Yahoo recently posted by clicking on that superb ‘stache below. The flick opens August 3rd.
