About a month ago we told you about the great Emile Hirsch jumping on board a little alien invasion flick THE DARKEST HOUR (relive the magic HERE). A lot of time has passed, giving the producers the chance to cast not one but two more people in the Chris Gorak directed flick.
According to What’s Playing, the smokin’ blond hottie known as Rachael Taylor has joined the cast, alongside some other dude named Joel Kinnaman. Who the shiznit is that? I dont’ know. It doesn’t matter. What matters is Taylor, who is probably most recognizable as the other hot chick in TRANSFORMERS. It’s always nice to have a lovely lady in the mix when we’re talking about an alien invasion, no?
The cast for THE DARKEST HOUR already includes Hirsch and Olivia Thirlby (below), and it goes a little something like this: a group of youngsters in Russia following an alien invasion.
No new information as to the plot or the brief synopsis has been added since we last heard from this beast, but I suppose a little secrecy never hurt anyone. In fact, in today’s world of pics and clips, it’s almost refreshing to have an upcoming movie fly under the radar for a bit.
Anyway, THE DARKEST HOUR is set to be shot in 3D in Russia over the next few months, so stick around for more updates as they come our way.
