Hugh Grant is Back!

JoBloJoBlo

Ladies and Gents it’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for. Our favorite backseat lethario, the king of romcoms, Hugh Grant is returning to the big screen. We can all finally rest easy.

His comeback begins with another romcom staple in the form of Sarah Jessica Parker. The two are set to star in an untitled Marc Lawrence–who happens to know a thing or two about romcoms as well–project for Columbia Pictures.

In it Hugh and Sarah would play an estranged high-powered New York couple who witness a murder and are placed in a witness-protection program in a small Wyoming town. This would be followed by the introduction of eccentric yet loveable small town stereotypes, a reconnection between the two leads, followed by a rift, followed by one final and deciding reconnection.

Lawrence, having written the MISS CONGENIALITY films, is a guru of the high concept romcoms, so our boy Hugh’s career is in good hands. It’s a lot of fun saying romcoms by the way. Romcom.
