Summit Entertainment is in quite a hurry to rake some profits off Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight novels, with the third film just about to start production while the second is still 3 months away from release.

Jack will be handling a character called Royce King II, who apparently was a fiance of Nikki Reed’s character Rosalie during the Great Depression. Wish I could say more, but I’d need to read the book for that.
Filming is set to begin this month under director David Slade, for a June 30, 2010 release date.
