In the wake of a rather quiet limited theatrical release a couple of months ago, a cool little comic book tie-in for I SELL THE DEAD is stacking shelves today (October 7th).

For those in the clouds, I SELL THE DEAD is a period-piece throwback to Hammer films of yore, this one a farce about a pair of bumbling grave robbers whose dastardly deeds finally catch up to them. More detailed:

With only a few hours to go before his date with the guillotine, Arthur Blake (Dominic Monaghan) tells his life story to Father Francis Duffy (Ron Perlman). Before long, Arthur spills the beans on how he got started in the grim corpse peddling business with seasoned ghoul Willie Grimes (Larry Fessenden).

And concerning the new comic book, it’s written by I SELL THE DEAD writer/director Glenn McQuaid, with art by “GUERILLAS” creator Brahm Revel – this beautiful volume is made up of 40 full color pages of undead thrills and chills plus 5 bonus pages on the art of the film!

Not much of a comic-head these days, but if I were, you could color me AMPED!

The I SELL THE DEAD comic book is a Glass Eye Pix production presented by Image Comics. You can nab yourself a copy of the comic or find out more on the project right HERE.
