I Spit On Your Grave remake gets slapped with an expected R rating by the MPAA

With this mornings disappointing news of JONAH HEX being rated PG-13 (check that noise HERE), it brings a slight smile to my face to report that an upcoming horror flick will, in fact, be rated R for your viewing pleasure.

The remake of I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE was slapped with a (surprisingly) R rating for pervasive strong sadistic brutal violence, rape and torture, nudity and language.

Because if all that wasn’t enough, there’s language to consider. For a flick like this, you’d think a simple “this movie is f*cked up” would suffice, but breaking it out in the nitty-gritty is kinda cool anyway. At least this way parents know exactly what they’re getting into when they bring their kids to a movie like this.

I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE stars Sarah Butler (below), Daniel Franzese, Chad Lindberg, Rodney Eastman, and Andrew Howard, and is set to be released in theaters at an unspecified date later this Fall.
