I Want That: Awesome Universal Monsters Figures

JoBloJoBlo

If you’re a collector like me then you know how cool figures look on your movie shelf entertainment unit, or however you decided to display the goods. I usually ty to rotate my collectables once or twice a year, keeping things fresh and even adding a few pieces along the way. Halloween is not too far off and what better way to decorate your own personal space than with a new assortment of Universal Monsters action figures. These look great and as temped as you might be to keep them in their original packaging, they are clearly meant for display as each figure comes with its own prop.

Available now at Toys "R" Us and coming soon to comic shops and specialty stores, are two brand-new 7-inch-scale action figures: Frankenstein's Monster as he appears in Son of Frankenstein, and the Creature from the Black Lagoon.  Check them out:

Along with the Creature and Monster is Diamond Select Toys' original take on famous monster hunter Van Helsing.  Also standing around 7 inches tall, he comes armed with an axe, a sword, a crossbow and a rifle, all of which can be carried on his back – gotta love the convenience.

If you don't have a Toys "R" Us near you, be on the lookout at your local comic store. Find the nearest one with this Comic Shop Locator. For a few different images and details on these gems, check out Diamond Select Toys.
