We also have the exclusive first look at the film’s poster, which you can see at the bottom of this article.

Tyler Clair Smith wrote the screenplay for Incarnation with Walsh, crafting a story that “summons the sin of greed in this dark tale of desire”. Here’s the synopsis:

Based on the legendary demon Mammon, Incarnation is a twisted tale of greed about a young couple chasing the American dream. Brad (Taye Diggs) and Jess (Jessica Uberuaga) move to Los Angeles in search of a better life. When they stumble upon a hidden real estate gem, they are elated by their turn of fortune. But they soon learn that greed comes with a hefty price when their ideal home is hiding a secret far more sinister than they could have ever imagined.

Taye Diggs (House on Haunted Hill 1999) and Jessica Uberuaga (The Fanatic) are joined in the cast by Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs).

Diggs had this to say about the horror genre:

The best and most terrifying thing about horror is that it’s a genre of limitless possibilities. The stalker film, the monster movie… those have become staples but every few years something comes out that completely upends the genre; and it will never be the same. Horror has embraced other genres. Comedy and horror, for example, blend so seamlessly despite the fact that they’re opposite. But it is that polar dynamic that makes their bond that much stronger.”

Incarnation was produced by Mike Hatton. Diggs and Uberuaga serve as executive producers on the film, alongside Garrett Zinke, Ryan McDonald, Martin Andrew Lyon, Glen D Smith, Gary Smith, Gary Smith Jr, Asko Akopyan, Sandra Siegal, Eric Brenner, Lake Garner, Jerry Tankersley, Grant Guthrie, and Michael Walker.

This marks the feature directorial debut for Isaac Walsh, who previously co-wrote the 2020 crime comedy Rook.
