Logan actor Boyd Holbrook and Shaunette Renée Wilson (The Resident, Black Panther) are set to co-star opposite Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones 5. The duo joins previously announced castmembers Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Mads Mikkelsen, who've already signed on to star in the anticipated sequel. James Mangold is in charge of directing the project rather than Steven Spielberg, who will serve as a producer. For those of you who are concerned about Spielberg not being at the helm, fear not, as he's still involved with several aspects of the film's development.

Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall, and Simon Emanuel will produce alongside Steven Speilberg. Set to return to the franchise is famed composer John Williams, whose contributions to the 40-year-old franchise are the stuff of legend. For the moment, the plan is to start production this summer. In fact, Mangold is in the process of meeting with other talents to make certain that production goes smoothly. After all, fans have waited long enough for this movie, have they not?

Holbrook made a splash after starring in the first two seasons of Narcos. He then landed a role while playing the villain Pierce in Mangold's mature and emotive X-Men feature Logan. You can also find him starring in Shane Black's The Predator as the character Quinn McKenna. As for Wilson, she was a member of the Dora Milaje in Marvel's Black Panther and is known to many as Dr. Mina Okafor on the medical drama The Resident.

The long-gestating Indiana Jones sequel is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 29, 2022. We'll be sure to keep you up to date with all the details as they roll out.
