Considering THE GOLDEN COMPASS didn’t exactly shatter any box office records for New Line, they’re now moving on to the next epic in their fantasy adventure production assembly line – INKHEART. Based on the acclaimed Cornelia Funke novel of the same name, the Iain Softley directed film stars Brendan Fraser as Mo “Silvertongue” Folchart, a man with the unique ability to bring characters to life when he reads aloud from books. When he inadvertently brings the evil Capricorn, in the form of a disturbingly depilated Andy Serkis, to life by reading aloud from the titular book, he and his daughter must find a way to send him and his eerily glabrous head back into the book. You can see all this in action via the film’s recently released trailer. Check it out at the film’s official site HERE. See Serkis’ baldness in all its glory on March 19th of next year.
