Matt Reeves’ LET ME IN is starting to flirt with overexposure. In the last six days, we’ve seen four new stills, two clips, a TV spot, refurbished website, a new international poster and trailer. Overture’s making damn sure more mofos see this thing than the film it was based on, the sublime LET THE RIGHT ONE IN. So here now, in our seventh article about the film in as many days…two more new one-sheets for the film.
My guess is these are the two “official theatrical posters” to be unlocked on the new website riddle, which we shot your way yesterday. Failing utterly, I couldn’t solve the simple grade school math problem. Sigh.
LET ME IN follows Abby, a secretive 12-year old girl, who moves next door to Owen. Owen is a social outcast who is viciously bullied at school and in his loneliness, forms a profound bond with his new neighbor. Owen can’t help noticing that Abby is like no one he has ever met before. As a string of grisly murders occupy the town, Owen has to confront the reality that this seemingly innocent girl is really a savage vampire.
LET ME IN comes out on the 1st of October.
