Formerly known as THE COUP, the film stars Owen Wilson, Pierce Brosnan and Lake Bell as innocent civilians tossed into the midst of a violent revolution in Asia. At least James Bond is in the house!
Directed by John Erick Dowdle (DEVIL, QUARANTINE), NO ESCAPE centers on:
… an American businessman (Wilson) as he and his family settle into their new home in Southeast Asia. Suddenly finding themselves in the middle of a violent political uprising, they must frantically look for a safe escape as rebels mercilessly attack the city.
The Weinstein Company will release NO ESCAPE on September 2nd.
